“Most people want to change the world to improve their lives, but the world they need to change first is the one inside themselves.”

It was the American author and speaker John C. Maxwell who wrote. Everyone has an opinion on what is wrong with the world, yet few will do the work to improve their own lives.

If you want to change reality, start with yourself first and attend to your own personal development. In doing so, problems give way to solutions and no longer affect you.

Marathon is a sport that you just have to commit to do something. This is the event that everyone wants you to succeed. When I run a marathon, there are forces available, namely gravity. Over the whole course , I’d begun to get a sense of how tilting my torso forward just a bit would shift my momentum, outsourcing a portion of my self-propulsion to that most constant of companions.

A marathoner is not just something you are, but someone you’ve become. What beyond the finish-line is not only wear a medal placed around neck, but also deep within the heart, for the rest of your God-given years. You finally know nothing can ever take that away from you.
